In March 2022 Ruscon, a multimodal logistics operator, part of Delo Group, carried a record-breaking number of containers from Novorossiysk to Moscow. The 11 block trains carried 634 40’ units, including 144 reefer containers, during the month under report. This exceeds the previous record achieved in December 2021, by 24 containers, the Group said.
Commenting on the event, Andrey Chernyshev, Senior Vice-President of Ruscon, said: “Today, in such a difficult time, the Group is doing its best to maintain the logistics chain, to support timely and complete cargo delivery – this is a priority for both customers and population of our country. We consider the Novorossiysk-Moscow service as one of the most important in this context”.
“Our service to Moscow makes a significant contribution to improving the environment. Since its launch in February 2020, more than 7 thousand containers have been transported along this route, which is equivalent to clearing the roads of the same number of heavy trucks,” he added.
