RZD Logistics in cooperation with Azerbaijan’s Alliance Logistics have launched an Agroexpress block train for agri products from Azerbaijan to Russia.
The first train left the station of Lajat on February 12 carrying a load of fresh Azerbaijan-grown persimmon, which is in high demand in the Russian market.
According to Natig Aliev, Director of Alliance Logistics, the service is to go regular in the near future, and the rail station of Astara is to be included into the route.
