Экспорт угля и кокса, 2021 год: вывоз твердого остатка в долларах вырос в 2,2 раза

Coal and Coke Export in 2021

  • According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in 2021 Russia exported 210.6 mn tons of coal, up 5.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, coal export amounted to over $17.6 bn, up 41.7% year-on-year.

    Coal import during the period under report made 21.8 mn tons, down 2.9% year-on-year, worth $412.8 mn, up 29.5% year-on-year.

    Coke and coal char export in 2021 made 3.3 mn tons, up 22.7% year-on-year, worth $1.1 bn, up 2.2-fold year-on-year.

    In December, coal export made 19.9 mn tons, down 7.7% year-on-year and up 23.5% month-on-month. Value-wise, coal export surged 2-fold year-on-year and increased by 22.1% month-on-month making $2.4 bn.

    Coke and coal char export in December amounted to 366.3 thousand tons, up 46.1% year-on-year and up 25.4% month-on-month. In terms of value it was worth $167.5 mn, up 3.7-fold year-on-year and up 30.2% month-on-month.
