According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-September 2021 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.6 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 5.1% year-on-year, physically, and $110.2 mn, up 10.6%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-September grew by 24.7% year-on-year up to $2.3 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-September 2021 increased by 64.1% up to $70.4 mn.
In September, Russia exported 269.4 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 16.8% year-on-year and up 27.2% month-on-month, worth $19.7 mn, up 35% year-on-year and up 64.2% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in September was up 15.8% year-on-year and up 5.2% month-on-month to $302 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in September 2021 was up 63.3% year-on-year and down 57.4% month-on-month to $4.9 mn.
