According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-August 2021 Russia exported 9.2 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, up 1.5% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew by 45.8% up to $2.4 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-August 2021 increased by 34.2% up to some 7.8 mn tons. In terms of value, it grew by 50.1% up to $1.7 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 7.2 mn tons, up 2.9% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export grew by 53.2% up to over $2.7 bn.
In August, nitric fertilizers export made 1.5 mn tons, up 24% year-on-year and up 42.8% month-on-month. In terms of value, it surged 2.2-fold year-on-year and grew by 50.7% month-on-month to make $451.2 mn.
Potash fertilizers export was down 13.8% year-on-year and down 11.5% month-on-month to 730.6 thousand tons worth $197.6 mn, up 33.2% year-on-year and up 0.5% month-on-month.
Mixed fertilizers export in August declined by 7.3% year-on-year and increased by 2.5% month-on-month to make 838.8 thousand tons worth $374.5 mn, up 65.3% year-on-year and up 8.7% month-on-month.
