Container Transit from China to Europe via Kaliningrad Up 3-Fold

Almost 80.7 thousand TEU was carried between China and Europe by Kaliningrad Railway during January-September 2021, up 3.4-fold compared to the same period of 2020.

83% of the total traffic was multimodal freight. During the 9 months of 2021, China – Europe  container traffic was carried by Kaliningrad Railway and via sea ports made 67.1 thousand TEU, up 5.6-fold year-on-year.
