FESCO Transportation Group has announced launching a new rail container service branded Neva Baikal Shuttle from St. Petersburg to Irkutsk. The first train left St. Petersburg on October 3.
The transit time to Irkutsk will make 6 days. The service frequency will be weekly. The target transportation volume is 500 TEU a month, mostly consumer goods.
This is a fourth block train from St. Petersburg operated by FESCO. Earlier, the group launched rail container services to Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Khabarovsk.
