FESCO станет единым логистическим оператором для турецкой АЭС «Аккую»

FESCO Appointed Single Logistics Operator for Akkuyu Power Plant Project

  • FESCO will be the single logistics operator providing cargo loading / unloading and transportation services at the Vostochny cargo terminal and on the nuclear power plant Akkuyu construction site in Turkey, the group said in a statement.

FESCO signed a three-year contract with Akkuyu Nuclear, part of Rosatom, at the Eastern Economic Forum. Under the contract, FESCO will act as the single operator providing handling cargo delivered for Akkuyu by sea.

FESCO and Rosatom have already a record of cooperation in heavylift cargo logistics under the Akkuytu project, Andrey Severilov, Chairman of the FESCO Board, reminded.

The new agreement will allow FESCO to expand both cooperation with Rosatom and the Group’s service portfolio, he said. FESCO intends to strengthen its position in this business segment, Severilov added.
