Digital Platform for Northern Sea Route

  • Rosatom has drafted a concept of a common digital service platform for the Northern Sea Route defining the general system architecture, the main users and data suppliers.

According to Rosatom, the feasibility study of the project suggests it will be worth some 2.9 bn rubles ($39.3 mn).

Rosatom has already invested more than 50 mn rubles ($678 thousand) into developing the concept and studying how to integrate it into the systems it currently utilizes.

A similar sum was assigned for updating the automatic management system used by Atomflot’s maritime operations headquarters, which will be part of the NSR common digital service platform.
