Rosmorport has announced a tender to continue and complete the construction of the international sea port in Pionersky in Kaliningrad region.
The project envisages building two berths with a total length of 725 m for cargo vessels and cruise liners, and a 110 m berth for port fleet, as well as coastal engineering structures, shore-based infrastructure and the terminal building.
Initially, Rosmorport awarded the contract to Bolwerk, but terminated the contract in 2019 as the construction process that started in 2018 slowed down and was altogether suspended.
The project capacity of the would-be terminal is 305 thousand passengers and up to 80 thousand tons of cargo per annum.
