Rosmorport has announced a tender to choose the dredging contractor for Novatek’s LNG terminal in the Bechevinskaya Bay in the Kamchatka Peninsula. The dredging scope amounts to 16.5 mn cubic meters.
In August last year, the first tender to choose the dredging contractor for the Kamchatka LNG terminal was recognized as invalid as there was only one bid from Van Oord, which offered almost 20 bn rubles while the maximum price was about 11 bn rubles, Kommersant reported then.
After that, the project documentation for dredging was corrected and a new permission for dredging was obtained.
The LNG terminal in the Kamchatka Peninsula is invested by Novatek. Rosmorport is responsible for developing objects of federal property.
The project capacity of the terminal will make 21.7 mn tons of KBG per annum.
