According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-April 2021 Russia’s export of vodka declined both in physical terms and value-wise.
It made 514.4 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 0.6% year-on-year, physically, and $34.4 mn, down 3.4%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-April grew by 18.6% year-on-year to $924.8 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-April 2021 increased by 13.8% up to $22.2 mn.
In April, Russia exported 194.6 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 40.2% year-on-year and up 37.1% month-on-month, worth $12.3 mn, up 66.2% year-on-year and up 28.1% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in April was up 38.8% year-on-year and up 0.4% month-on-month to $269 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in April 2021 was up 37.8% year-on-year and down 12.1% month-on-month to $5.1 mn.
