China – Europe Container Transit via Kaliningrad Surging

Container transit between China and Europe carried by Kaliningrad Railway during January-April 2021 exceeded 30.1 thousand TEU, up 7.5-fold.

83% of the rail-carried traffic was transported to or from ports. The intermodal volumes grew 11-fold year-on-year to make more than 24.5 thousand TEU during the first four months of 2021.
