According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, during January-November 2020 Russia imported 45.5 mn pairs of leather footwear, down 17.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, leather footwear import decreased by 21% year-on-year down to $1.2 bn.
Clothes import into Russia declined by 5% down to $6.4 bn.
Cotton fabric import during the 11 months was up 3% year-on-year to $153 mn.
Cotton fabric export from Russia grew by 2.6% year-on-year up to $46.5 mn.
In November, leather footwear import declined by 8.7% year-on-year and by 36.4% month-on-month making 2.1 mn pairs worth $71.3 mn, down 9.9% year-on-year and down 42.2% month-on-month.
Clothes import was down 4.5% year-on-year and down 18.2% month-on-month to $486.2 mn.
Cotton fabric import in November grew by 1.2% year-on-year and declined by 15.7% month-on-month amounting to $16.9 mn.
Cotton fabric export increased by 6.8% year-on-year and by 2.2% month-on-month to make $4.7 mn.
