According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-November 2020 Russia exported 2.4 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, down 4.5% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export declined by 11.2% year-on-year down to $3.8 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export increased by 3.1% year-on-year making 656.9 thousand tons worth $3.8 bn, up 0.9% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-November 2020 decreased by 13.2% year-on-year amounting to 105.9 thousand tons worth $1.4 bn, down 16.9% year-on-year.
In November, unwrought aluminum export made 349.2 thousand tons, up 2.4-fold year-on-year and up 73.5% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export surged by 92.4% year-on-year and by 62.3% month-on-month to make $506.8 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was up 76.2% year-on-year and up 3.2-fold month-on-month to 111.7 thousand tons worth $721.5 mn, up 2-fold year-on-year and up 3.4-fold month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export in November was up 2.5-fold year-on-year and up 24.4% month-on-month to 11.2 thousand tons. In terms of value, it surged 2.5-fold year-on-year and grew by 27.7% month-on-month to make $167.7 mn.
