According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-October 2020 Russia exported 11.5 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, down 1.6% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export declined by 13.6% down to $2.1 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 8.9 mn tons, down 0.2% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export decreased by 17.2% down to $2.2 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-October 2020 grew by 10.7% up to more than 7.9 mn tons. In terms of value, it declined by 19.5% down to $1.5 bn.
In October, nitric fertilizers export made 912.8 thousand tons, down 23.5% year-on-year and down 40.7% month-on-month. In terms of value, it decreased by 25% year-on-year and by 40.5% month-on-month to make $165.9 mn.
Mixed fertilizers export increased by 14.9% year-on-year and declined by 1.6% month-on-month to make 960 thousand tons worth $238.5 mn, up 10.9% year-on-year and down 6.5% month-on-month.
Potash fertilizers export in October grew by 30.4% year-on-year, and by 0.2% month-on-month making more than 1 mn tons worth $177 mn (down 1.9% year-on-year).
