A regular ferry service has been launched in the Caspian between the northern ports of Iran and the ports of Kuryk (Kazakhstan) and Olya (Russia), IRU reports.
The service is operated with two vessels, “Kompozitor Rakhmaninov” and “Gasanov”, the capacity of each is 35 trucks 17 meters long , or 40 trucks 13-14 meters long , or 80 trucks 7 meters long, or 150 cars. The vessels belong to TransMorFlot, the agent in Iran is Mavvaj Darya.
The first voyage by “Kompozitor Rakhmaninov” from the port of Amirabad to the port of Kuryk took place on November 15. At least 3 sailings per month are scheduled
The second ship, “Gasanov” is to start voyages from Olya to Anzali /Nowshahr port and vice versa from December 10.
