According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-September 2020 Russia exported 1.9 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, down 20.1% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export declined by 24.7% year-on-year down to $3 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export increased by 0.5% year-on-year making 510.2 thousand tons worth $2.9 bn, down 5.7% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-September 2020 decreased by 15.9% year-on-year amounting to 85.7 thousand tons worth $1.1 bn, down 18.9% year-on-year.
In September, unwrought aluminum export made 312.9 thousand tons, up 2.3% year-on-year and up 56.8% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export declined by 10.2% year-on-year and grew by 50.5% month-on-month to make $468.6 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 1.8% year-on-year and up 1.3% month-on-month to 64.6 thousand tons worth $406 mn, up 10.5% year-on-year and up 3.7% month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export in September was down 33.1% year-on-year and up 11.9% month-on-month to 11.3 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 42.2% year-on-year and grew by 21.2% month-on-month to make $161.9 mn.
