«Атомэнергомаш» продолжает отгружать негабарит в Бангладеш

Atomenergomash Ships Heavylift Equipment for Nuclear Power Plant Project in Bangladesh

  • Petrozavodskmash, part of the machine building division of Rosatom, Atomenergomash, has shipped equipment for the first unit of the Rooppur nuclear power plant in Bangladesh.

    The main circular motor pump was the first to be loaded. The body of the pump weighs over 31 ton, the aggregate measures 3.5 meters high and over 3 meters wide. Together with the mounting equipment and fixtures, it weighs some 50 tons.

    The pump will be trucked to the port of St. Petersburg by road. There, it will be loaded on aboard a sea-going vessel for delivery to Mongla in Rooppur. In Mongla, the equipment is to be transshipped on onto a river barge and carried to the destination by the Padma River.

    Earlier, another branch of Atomenergomash shipped moisture separator-reheaters for the Rooppur project.
