First Full Train Carries Sanctioned Cargo from Europe to China across Russia

  • RZD Logistics and UTLC ERA has organizes the first train shipment of commodities under sanctions in Russia from Europe to China across the territory of the Russian Federation. Previously, ad hock containers were shipped only.

    The train carrying 50 40’ units laden with dairy products departed the station of Malasheviche in Poland to Wuhan in China and is to arrive at the destination in 14 days. The train is routed via the border crossing in Brest.

    According to RZD Logisitcs, prior to this the company delivered over 70 containers and 81 roofed railcars with sanctioned cargo from Europe to China this year.

    According to UTLC ERA, this was the largest shipment of sanctioned commodities transiting Russia.
