FESCO transportation group has won a contract from Norilsk Nickel to deliver containerized cargo from the company’s production facilities in Murmansk Oblast to Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The contract provides for transportation of over 4 thousand TEU till September 2021. The intermodal service will include train delivery from Monchegorsk in Murmank Oblast to St. Petersburg, loading on board vessels and shipping from St. Petersburg to ports of destination in Europe, Asia and North and South Americas.
The commodities to be transported include nickel, copper and cobalt containing compounds, including IMO cargoes.
