According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-July 2020 Russia exported 7.9 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, level with the results for the same period of 2019. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export declined by 14.3% year-on-year down to $1.4 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 6.1 mn tons, up 1.4% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export decreased by 18.9% down to $1.5 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-July 2020 made some 5 mn tons, up 5.2% year-on-year. In terms of value, it dropped by 21.8% down to $962.6 mn.
In July, nitric fertilizers export declined by 12.5% year-on-year, and grew by 33.3% month-on-month making 1.5 mn tons worth $252.5 mn, up 0.4% year-on-year and up 20.8% month-on-month.
Mixed fertilizers export made 846 thousand tons, up 16.6% year-on-year and down 11.9% month-on-month. In terms of value, it increased by 0.9% year-on-year, but declined by 12.7% month-on-month to make $218 mn.
Potash fertilizers export in July increased by 29.6% year-on-year and by 20.9% month-on-month to make 1.1 mn tons worth $189.7 mn, down 12.8% year-on-year and up 12.5% month-on-month.
