Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company in cooperation with TransContainer have launched regular a weekly block train from the Nakhodka-Vostochnaya rail station bound for Malaszevicze station in Poland via Brest (Belarus).
Shipments via the Nakhodka – Brest – Malaszevicze route commenced in January 2020, with a total of 12 trains dispatched during the first six months of the year.
The first regular block train under the new weekly schedule departed Nakhodka-Vostochnaya on September 2 carrying 93 TEU laden with goods from APR countries, including temperature-sensitive commodities, designated for Europe. The planned transit time by rail is 12 days.
The new service is designed for goods requiring minimum delivery time that arrive at the terminal by regular container shipping lines. The next trains from the VSC are scheduled on September 8, 15, 22 and 29.
