According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the total cargo throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-May 2020 amounted to 351.5 mn tons (+3.6%). Five terminals handled 107.2 mn tons or 30.5% of this volume.
Primorsk Commercial Port became the leader in terms of cargo throughput. Its cargo traffic increased by 14.1% up to 27.9 mn tons.
CPC-R in Novorossiysk stepped a line down in January-May 2020 and rates the second. It handled 26.9 mn tons, up 8.4% year-on-year.
Cargo traffic via Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port made to 25.6 mn tons, down 18.7% year-on-year.
Cargo throughput via Transneft Kozmino Port in Vostochny increased by 7.5% up to 14.5 mn tons.
Neva Pipeline Company in Ust-Luga handled 12.3 mn tons. Its cargo throughput was down 10.2% year-on-year.

It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top-5. Nikolaevsk Commercial Sea Port saw its cargo traffic surge 220-fold, SGT KAVKAZ was up 10.1-fold, Arctic Consulting Service in Arkhangelsk up 8.5-fold.
The largest decrease in cargo traffic was in Za Rodiny Fishing Cooperative (Kaliningrad) (-91.7%), K-Market Kozmino (Vostochny) (-84.1%) and Linter (Kavkaz) (-83.9%).
