TransContainer has launched a regular train service for Chinese cargo that arrives at the Zabaikalsk border crossing by rail. The local branch of TransContainer loads these containers at Zabaikalsk and carries them to Yekaterinburg.
The first block train carrying 104 TEU laden with equipment and machinery departed from Zabaikalsk on May 26 and arrived at Yekaterinburg on May 31, a spokesperson for TransContainer told SeaNews.
The planned service frequency is at least twice a month.
