According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-March 2020 Russia exported 478.6 thousand tons of unwrought aluminum, down 47.4% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export dropped by 50.3% year-on-year down to $811.5 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export declined by 22.4% year-on-year making 152.2 thousand tons worth $870.7 mn, down 27.3% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-March 2020 decreased by 16.7% year-on-year amounting to 26 thousand tons worth $331.6 mn, down 12.4% year-on-year.
In March, unwrought aluminum export made 239.1 thousand tons, down 13.2 year-on-year and up 93.3% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export decreased by 20.1% year-on-year and surged by 74.1% month-on-month to make $382.5 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export was down 45.3% year-on-year and down 38.6% month-on-month to 35.2 thousand tons worth $188 mn, down 52.9% year-on-year and down 44.1% month-on-month.
Unwrought nickel export in March was down 16.3% year-on-year and down 69.2% month-on-month to 4.1 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 24.5% year-on-year and dropped by 71.8% month-on-month to make $48.5 mn.
