Novotrans Stevedoring Company has loaded the first shipment of sunflower meal from the rail and road ferry complex in Ust-Luga. 3 thousand tons of Russian produced sunflower meal arrived at the terminal by rail and loaded on board a ship to be transported to Germany.
According to Novotrans, the company now transships grain cargoes at the rail and road ferry terminal on a regular basis. The first grain cargo in Ust-Luga was 5 thousand tons of flax seeds shipped to Belgium in early April.
In the nearest future, Novotrans plans to handle a series of shipments of sunflower meal, cake and similar products.
