Maersk, Ruscon and TransContainer Launch Joint Intermodal Service

  • Maersk, Ruscon and TransContainer have launched a joint intermodal container service between the sea port of Novorossiysk and Vorsino dry port outside Moscow in Kaluga region.

    Containers arriving to Novorossiysk sea port for consignees in Moscow and neighboring regions are carried by rail to Vorsino. At the destination, consignees can choose between end-to-end solution and self-pickup from Vorsino.

    The service was started in test mode in January 2020, and since then has achieved a weekly frequency as originally planned.

    The transit time from Novorossiysk port to destination is 50 hours  

    The train departs from NUTEP terminal every Thursday at 5 am arriving at Vorsino on Saturday at 7 am.
