Korean Investor in Slavyanka Port

  • Republic of Korea’s Hyein E&C has presented a preliminary feasibility study to develop the port of Slavyanka in the Russian Far East. The territory allocated for the project is 131 ha. The Russian party of the project is Berkut.

    According to the RF Far East Investment and Export Agency, by preliminary estimation, some $450-540 million is to be invested into developing specialized terminals to handle containers and grain in the port.

    The project also envisages renovating the Slavyanka shiprepair yeard, developing the Nerpa port, and building an export LPG terminal with a capacity of 1 mn tons.
