According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the total cargo throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-November 2019 amounted to 766.8 mn tons (+2.7%). Five terminals handled 235.7 mn tons or 30.7% of this volume.
All the terminals in the Top-5 handled crude oil and oil products.
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port is the leader of cargo throughput. Its cargo traffic decreased by 5.1% down to 67.2 mn tons.
CPC-R in Novorossiysk saw its cargo traffic grow by 4.2% up to 57.4 mn tons.
Cargo traffic via Primorsk Commercial Port amounted to 56.3 mn tons, up 16.3% year-on-year.
Cargo throughput via Transneft Kozmino Port in Vostochny increased by 8.7% up to 30.3 mn tons.
Neva Pipeline Company in Ust-Luga handled 24.5 mn tons, up 3.5% year-on-year.

It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top-5. Streletskoe Stevedoring Company in Astrakhan saw its cargo traffic surge 6.1-fold, K-Market Kozmino in Vostochny was up 4.7-fold, Tuapse Sea Commercial Port Company was up 4.1-fold.
The largest decrease in cargo traffic was in Expeditor (Azov) (-98.6%), Yuzhny Sea Port (Azov) (-92.7%) and Kerch Fishing Port, Crimean Sea Ports branch (-87.1%).
