RZD Logistics has dispatched the first soybean shipment from Russia to China by its specialized Agroexpress train service. The customer is the Chinese holding COFCO Group.
250 tons of soybeans produced by Rusagro Group was stuffed into ten 20’ containers and dispatched from the station of Anisovka in Saratov Oblast to Alashankou in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in China.
The train is routed via the territory of Kazakhstan. The estimated transit time is 7 days.
RZD Logistics hopes that there will be other shipments for COFCO Group in future.
