In October 2019, cargo throughput via the Russian Arctic sea ports increased by 1.6% year-on-year. Export was up 7.8%. Import declined by 33.6% and cabotage by 7.1%.
49.1% of the total cargo traffic was crude oil, coal and coke accounted for 17.6% and LNG for 16.4%.
Murmansk
In October 2019 cargo throughput via Murmansk decreased by 2.6% year-on-year. Import, which is insignificant, dropped by 82.9%. Cabotage was down 6.8%. Export remained much on the previous year’s level (+0.6%).

Arkhangelsk
Cargo traffic via Arkhangelsk declined slightly by 0.9% year-on-year. Export was up 2.3%. Import dropped by 66.7% and cabotage declined by 3.3%.

Sabetta
Cargo traffic via Sabetta grew by 16.1% in October 2019. Export was up 28.6%, import up 66.7%. Cabotage, on the contrary, decreased by 3.9%.
