According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-October 2019 Russia exported 2.4 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, down 3.5% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export decreased by 6.9% down to some $4.1 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export increased by 5.3% making 573.1 thousand tons worth $3.4 bn, down 2.6% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-October grew by 7.6% up to 117.5 thousand tons worth $1.6 bn, up 10.9% year-on-year.
In October, unwrought aluminum export made 162 thousand tons, down 51.9 year-on-year and 47% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export dropped by 51.1% year-on-year and by 47.7% month-on-month to make $273.2 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export in October was down 1.7% year-on-year and down 0.9% month-on-month to 65.2 thousand tons worth $366 mn (down 4.9% year-on-year and 0.4% month-on-month).
Unwrought nickel export in October was up 2.1-fold year-on-year and down 8.3% month-on-month to 15.5 thousand tons. In terms of value, it surged 3.1-fold year-on-year and declined by 5.9% month-on-month to make $263.6 mn.
