According to the RF Federal Customs Service, during January-September 2019 Russia exported 2.4 mn tons of unwrought aluminum, up 3.9% year-on-year. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export decreased by 0.3% down to some $4 bn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export made 507.5 thousand tons (+6.1%) worth $3 bn, down 2.4% year-on-year.
Unwrought nickel export in January-September was up by 0.2% to 102 thousand tons worth $1.3 bn, down 1.5% year-on-year.
In September, unwrought aluminum export made 305.9 thousand tons, up 53.3% year-on-year and up 4.9% month-on-month. In terms of value, unwrought aluminum export increased by 65.3% year-on-year and by 11.3% month-on-month to make $522 mn.
Refined copper and unwrought copper alloys export in September was up 78.3% year-on-year and down 1.9% month-on-month to 65.8 thousand tons worth $367.3 mn (up 78.4% year-on-year and down 4.6% month-on-month).
Unwrought nickel export in September was up 48.2% year-on-year and up 10.6-fold month-on-month to 16.9 thousand tons. In terms of value, it surged 2.1-fold year-on-year and 11.5-fold month-on-month up to $280 mn.
