During week 46, freight rates for shipping cargo by Handysize bulkers from West and North-West Black Sea ports went down.
According to Glogos Project shipbrokers, freight rates for shipping wheat by 10,000 dwt Handysize bulkers from Novorossiysk / Tuapse to East Med declined by $2 down to $18 pmt, and those for 25,000 dwt bulkers were $14 pmt.
Freight rates from Odessa / Chernomorsk to East Med made $20 pmt for 10,000 dwt bulkers and $17 pmt for 25,000 dwt bulkers. Freight rates for wheat from Nikolaev to East Med were $24 pmt for 10,000 dwt ships and $19 pmt for 25,000 dwt ships.
Freight rates for mineral fertilizers from Novorossiysk / Tuapse to East Med were down to $26 pmt for 10,000 vessels and $17 pmt for 25,000 dwt vessels.
Freight rates for coal from Novorossiysk / Tuapse to ARAG lost $1 and made $27 pmt.
