During weeks 46, freight rates for shipping cargo by Handysize bulkers in the Baltic and the NW European declined compared to the previous week’s level.
According to Glogos Project brokers, freight rates for shipping wheat by Handysize bulkers from ARAG to East Med made $20 pmt, those to West Med were $15 pmt.
Freight rates for wheat from the Baltic to North Spain made $14 pmt.
Freight rates for shipping scrap by 25,000 dwt Handysize bulkers from the Baltic to East Med remaned $25 pmt. ARAG – East Med rates made $23 pmt.
Freight rates for shipping coal by 25,000 dwt Handysize bulkers from the Baltic to North Spain lost $2 and were $13 pmt, and those from the Baltic to East Med were $21 per ton.
