In August 2019, cargo throughput via the Russian Arctic sea ports remained much on the previous year’s level (+0.5%). Export was up 4.8% and import up 90.2%. Cabotage was down 6.5%.
47% of the total cargo traffic was crude oil, coal and coke accounted for 18.7% and LNG for 16%.
Murmansk
In August 2019 cargo throughput via Murmansk decreased by 9.7% year-on-year. Cabotage declined by 15.3%, export by 8.3%. Import made 53.4 thousand tons.

Arkhangelsk
Cargo traffic via Arkhangelsk increased by 7.5% year-on-year. Export was up 20%, while import dropped by 78.2% and cabotage by 20.5%.

Sabetta
Cargo traffic via Sabetta grew by 38.4% in August 2019. Export surged by 64.8%, cabotage was up 2%. Import was non-existent in August.
