Russia’s Arctic Ports’ Container Throughput Up in July

    In July 2019, container traffic via Russia’s Arctic region sea ports grew by 3% year-on-year. Cabotage, which accounts for the major share of the total, was up 2.3%. Export made 96 TEU.

    Murmansk

    Cabotage that constitutes the major share of container traffic via Murmansk increased by 43.2% year-on-year in July. Export made 96 TEU. The total container throughput was up 47.5% year-on-year.

    Arkhangelsk

    Container traffic via Arkhangelsk decreased by 8.6% year-on-year in July 2019. All of the volume was cabotage.

    Cabotage container traffic via Dudinka declined by 4.8% year-on-year in July.
