Zvezda Shipyard has laid the keel for a third Aframax tanker ordered by Rosnefteflot, a subsidiary of Russia’s oil major Rosneft.
All the vessels in the series will be equipped with double fuel main and auxiliary engines able to work on LNG. The tankers will have 250 LOA and 44 m beam.
The unique thing about the Aframax construction project is that the tankers are being built at the time when the yard construction is still underway.
