Vostochny Port has put into operation Stage 3 of its specialized coal terminal. The first shipment from Stage 3 was high-quality coal produced by Kuzbassrazrezugol for JSW Steel Ltd, India’s largest steel manufacturer.
Stage 3 of the specialized coal terminal in Vostochny is a major investment project worth over 40 bn rubles ($600 mn) completed with no public financing.
The project completion allows to expand the port’s capacity from 25 mn tons up to 50-55 mn tons.
