According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, during January-June 2019 Russia exported some 6.5 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, down 2.1% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew by 7.8% up to $1.39 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 5.3 mn tons, which is 13% below the result for January-June 2018. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export declined by 5.6% down to $1.65 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during the first six months of 2019 decreased by 13.8% down to more than 3.9 mn tons. In terms of value, it grew by 4.1% up to over $1 bn.
In June, nitric fertilizers export was up 21.2% year-on-year and up 49.6% month-on-month making over 1.3 mn tons worth $255.5 mn (up 32.7% year-on-year and up 51.4% month-on-month).
Mixed fertilizers export in June made 925.1 thousand tons, down 7.8% year-on-year and up 22.3% month-on-month. In terms of value, it declined by 3.1% year-on-year and grew by 27.4% month-on-month up to $300.1 mn.
Potash fertilizers export in June declined by 51.7% year-on-year and by 3.3% month-on-month down to 777.3 thousand tons worth $211.5 mn, down 42.7% year-on-year and 0.4% month-on-month.
