Maersk and Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy have launched a joint educational program ‘Maersk Education 2.0’ for students of the Academy.
Zsolt Katona, CEO of Maersk East Europe and Sergey Baryshnikov, rector of the Admiral Makarov Academy, signed a cooperation agreement on Friday.
The two-year program consists of 20 modules. The students will study state of the art international transportation technologies and practice as interns in the Maersk Russia office.
Lectures will be delivered in English by Maersk’s Russian and foreign specialists. The program graduates will have an opportunity to start their professional career both with Maersk and with other leading players in the Russian transport sector.
