Russia’s export of cars during the first two months of 2019 amounted to 13.5 thousand units, surging 41.2% year-on-year.
Truck export, according to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, declined 6.3% year-on-year down to 1.5 thousand units.
In terms of value, car export increased 29.3% year-on-year up to $172.6 mn. Truck export grew by 9.2% up to $33.4 mn.
Car import was down 6.9% year-on-year to 32.2 thousand units. Truck import surged by 43.5% up to 3.3 thousand units.
In terms of value, car import was up 5.1% year-on-year amounting to $867.2 mn. Truck import increased 2.9% to make $296.3 mn.
