Block Train from St. Petersburg to Kazakhstan

  • TransContainer is launching a regular train service from St. Petersburg to Kazakhstan. The first train carrying 96 TEU with car parts arrived at the destination, the Oksemen station in Kazakhstan, on March 5.

In St. Petersburg, the train departs from the Logistika-Terminal terminal, which TransContainer recently acquired from Global Ports. The train is routed via the Karaly-Elimay border crossing. The transit time is 7 days.

The service frequently is planned on a monthly basis. Previously, shipments were made in single parcels.
