TransContainer Posts Profit Growth

  • TransContainer has published its financial results for the full year of of 2018.

    The company’s earnings grew 16.5% year-on-year up to 75.9 bn rubles.

    Operating expenses increased 5.8% up to 201 bn rubles.

    Net profit made 8.9 bn rubles, up 63.9% year-on-year.

    The positive trend, according to TransContainer, was supported by the growing transportation volume under the favourable market conditions, better rolling stock utilization and reduced empty runs, as well as the cost control measures implemented by the new management.
