FESCO Launches China – Europe Train Service

  • FESCO in cooperation with Zhengzhou International Hub is launching a regular train service from Hamburg to Zhengzhou in China routed via the Grodekovo / Suifenhe border crossing.

    The first train carrying forty-three 40’ containers left Hamburg on January 3 and arrived at Brest in Belarus weher it was transferred to the Russian 1520 standard rail gauge for a further trip to Godekovo and its destination in China.

    FESCO has been cooperating with Zhengzhou International Hub on transporting containers between China and Europe since 2017, when the FESCO Silk Way Shuttle block train via Mongolia was launched.

    As for the new Hamburg – Zhengzhou train, yesterday Eurosib announced launching a different train service by the same route, via Grodekovo. Both FESCO and Eurosib clarified that these trains are different projects.
