Commercial Port of Vladivostok has put into operation two new rail-mounted gantry cranes manufactured by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co Ltd (ZPMC) at its container terminal.
The new 45-ton capacity cranes can handle 28 rows of containers and 5-layer container stacks. They are an addition to the four RMGs already in operation at the terminal.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok expects the equipment will allow of improving its handling performance by 10-15%.
