TransContainer has launched a new block train route from Kirov to the Avtovo rail station in St. Petersburg.
The first train departed December 14 carrying 100 TEU with sawn goods and plywood designated for further shipment to China, Egypt, Israel, Australia and the USA. The transit time made 2 days.
The service is planned as regular with departures at least twice a month. The next departure is scheduled next week.
As part of the service, TransContainer offers trucking loaded containers from manufacturer’s premises to the rail terminal in Kirov, terminal handling, and railway freight forwarding.
