TransContainer has launched a new container service from Logistika-Terminal that it acquired this this year from Global Ports to the Nakhodka-Vostochnaya rail station in the Far East.
The first train with cargo of chemical products and consumer goods designated for Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Korsakov port left St. Petersburg on November 21 and arrived at the destination on December 2.
The transit time was 11 days, the distance the train covers is 9735 km.
The train will operate on a regular basis with service frequency twice a month. The second train departed on December 1.
