New Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy has been appointed to the North- Western Federal District.
RF President Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North-Western Federal District, the President’s press service reports.
In accordance with the Executive Order, Alexander Gutsan has been appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North-Western Federal District.
Earlier, the Federation Council released Alexander Gutsan from the post of Deputy Prosecutor General, which he had held since 2007.
Alexander Gutsan will take over from Alexander Beglov, who has been appointed Acting Governor of St. Petersburg.
